Situated along the lively lakeshore road in Torbole, this bar offers a relaxed spot to take in views of the water while enjoying a variety of drinks and light meals. It tends to draw a mix of locals and visitors, from cyclists passing through to families settling in for casual dining. The atmosphere is easygoing and a bit bustling due to the nearby traffic and tourist activity, but outdoor seating lets you soak up the fresh air and watch the world go by.
People often come here for coffee in the morning—especially cappuccinos—and to linger over a glass of wine or a well-selected beer later in the day. The food menu covers straightforward options like paninis, salads, and classic Italian desserts, with a focus on informal dining rather than elaborate dishes. While some find the food simple or uneven in quality, the friendly and accommodating service tends to make the experience feel welcoming. Seating arrangements and accessible facilities make it suitable for solo diners, groups, families with kids, and those with mobility needs.
The setting naturally attracts anyone looking for a casual moment by the lake, whether stopping by for a quick drink, a slice of tiramisu, or to enjoy occasional live performances. Its combination of outdoor space, modest food offerings, and a varied drink selection creates a laid-back option for those exploring this corner of the province of Trento.

"Nice and friendly service, but the cakes were a bit old."
"Great location, but rude staff and unreal prices."
"Tasty coffee, local meting place."
4 The food was mediocre and a little overpriced. The lasagna looked like it was a microwaveable package you buy from the supermarket, my husband did not like it said it was too oily and not tasty. My son enjoyed his panini which my husband said was also bad. My salad was just a basic ham and cheese salad which I was content with. The staff are very friendly and accommodating though and it definitely is a nice location right across from beautiful lake views.
5 Took two cappucino.at morning. It was great. Nice lake view outside
4 You find Caffè Bellavista right at the mainroad next to the lake shore. Well - yes, very busy road - still a nice view of the lake. Watching all tourists and cyclists passing by. Small and friendly team… serving very yummy Tirami-su.
5 We got the best croissants ever right from the oven. Marmalade is the best, chocolate is behind.
4 Nice and friendly service, but the cakes were a bit "old".
5 Such a beautiful cafe the owners are lovely and its a delight to go here. There is a big dessert display at the back which tempted me every time. I went here for breakfast both times I went in February and lunch one time in January. It's usually quiet when I went given my late late timings but there were a lot of locals popping in and out and some tourists too. This Cafe is clearly a staple in the local area and definately deserves a visit even if its a flying one.
5 Very kind servers. Little bit old fashioned but that is just what I like!!
4 Had to order at counter, but drinks were brought over via table service. Owner/staff not overly welcoming/friendly. Just had a tea here, nicely presented with fresh sliced lemon (no milk with Italian tea) surprisingly refreshing and better for you! Mum and Dad had coffees no complaints there either. Numerous cakes and pastries on counter, looked very delicious. Plenty of seating, not very busy/or much atmosphere. Seem to have an extremely large drinks selection, and a bit of everything food wise, but we didnt try the food due to time we visited between breakfast & lunch and were leaving for the airport shortly. Very dated decor, but kind of quaint! Nice lakeside views but shame about the busy road.
Many guests enjoy the fresh croissants and the homemade Tiramisu, while coffee like cappuccino is also highly recommended.
It works well for both—a casual spot for a quick coffee or snack, as well as a place to sit and enjoy light meals with a lake view.
The café sits on a busy road near the lake, so mornings tend to be quieter and perfect for a peaceful coffee with a view.
Caffè Bellavista comfortably welcomes solo diners and groups alike, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
There’s outdoor seating, wheelchair-accessible entrance and toilet facilities, and you can pay by card or mobile NFC payments.
